Norbans, 1950 - 525 Washington Street at Huron
Founded by Joseph Norban around 1940 as a women's dress shop, Norban's expanded
so that by the late 1950's it had shops on
Broadway, Bailey Avenue, Jefferson Avenue, Fillmore Avenue, Main Street, Genesee
Street, Grant Street and Seneca Street.
(There was also a store in Batavia.)
