Morrison Building, 25 East Huron Street

The Morrison Building, on the south side of East Huron, in 1945. Next door is the Ideal Lunch. At one time,
three printers simultaneously occupied the building: Harry Hoffman Printers (see vertical sign above),
Thorner-Sidney, and the Hampshire Press.

The same view in 2005. The remainder of the block at left is demolished, but the building adjacent to the Morrison building
is currently occupied by Catholic Charities. The building behind the Morrison (address 501 Washington), under renovation
as apartments, is now called the Holling Place Apartments; the Holling Press formerly occcupied it.
